Figure Drawing and Painting Instructor, California Art Institute, Calabasas, California 1990 –1992 Instructed and oversaw figure drawing, portrait and figure painting classes of Instructor Mark Westermoe while tangentially continuing my student responsibilities as a full-time matriculated student. Initiated and instructed classes in fundamental figure drawing, portrait drawing and figure painting. Instructed advanced figure drawing classes while advancing my professional responsibilities in motion picture one-sheet rendering and design.

Figure Drawing and Anatomy Instruction, Associates in Art, Van Nuys, California Summer 1995 – Winter 1995 Lectured lessons in human anatomy as taught at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Instructor in figure drawing. Honoured with instructing the first figure drawing class at the debut of the art school’s founding (as a stand-in for school owner/instructor Mark Westermoe). Anatomy instructor. Using medium sized armatures, students were taught the intricate science of building an anatomically correct sculpted ecorché figure from bones to articulations and muscles.

Portrait and Figure Painting Instructor, California Art Institute, Sherman Oaks, California 2001 – 2002 Instructed a class in nude figure painting. Class instructed in Portrait painting.

Figure Drawing Instructor Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, Reseda, California Summer 2006 A figure drawing class devoted to basic and advanced principles in nude figure drawing on unarchival and later archival papers and surfaces. Techniques discussed and briefly demonstrated.

Foreign Student Atelier de la Grande Chaumiere, Rive Gauche, Paris, France 1992-1993,1994 Autodidactic study under north light windows focused on advanced nude and portrait painting.

Copyist Louvre Museum, Le bureau des copyists, Paris, France 1992-1993 Initiated authorized study in the Denon wing of the Louvre Museum, with unique emphasis on the’ Raft of the Medusa’ by Theodore Gericault and later, works by Veronese and Franz Hals. Tangentially produced numerous drawings in the Greco-Roman antiquities department.

Foreign Sculpture/Anatomy Student, L’eNSBA, Paris, France 1994-1995 Matriculated study in the ‘taille direct’ as taught by sculptor Jean Cardot, modelage under professors Perrin and Duffaut, and human and animal anatomical study in both the Amphitheatre de Morphologie with Associate Professor Comar and the designated morphology lecture hall with Professor Debord.

Sculpture/Casting Student, The Art Students League of New York, New York City, New York 1997-1998 Life-size portrait and figurative work performed under the direction of sculptor Barney Hodes. Figure casting techniques studied and executed.

Portrait Sculpture Student, The Sculpture Center, New York City, New York 1997-1998 Point and caliper sculpted portraiture study under the instruction of Russian sculptor Leonid Lerman.
